Rosetta compilation on Linux Ubuntu

Category:
Compilation

Hi everyone,

I downloaded the rosetta package for linux (version 3.8). During the compilation I receive an error saying:

UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xc3 in position 102: ordinal not in range(128)
scons: building terminated because of errors.

Can someone help me to resolve this problem. Thank you.

Error in units test

Category:
Compilation

I have recently installed Rosetta by compiling from source code. After that, I moved to testing as described here.

$ cd Rosetta/main/source
$ ./scons.py -j4 mode=debug && ./scons.py -j4 mode=debug cat=test
.
(omitted)
.
scons: done building targets.

The commands above seem fine, but when I tried to run unit tests, I got the following error.

I compiled Rosetta in my local computer successfully and It can runs.

I just upload the local compiled Rosetta to server, When I run the H3-modeling in log file I got error " ~/rosetta/main/source/bin/antibody_H3.linuxclangrelease: error while loading shared libraries: libcppdb.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

Do I need to compile again in server?

Error compiling pyrosetta

Category:
Compilation

Hi,

I'm running into an issue when trying to compile pyrosetta from source.  I'm following these directions:

http://www.pyrosetta.org/documentation#TOC-Building-PyRosetta-from-source

Those directions worked for me when I was using rosetta3.8.

I recently downloaded rosetta_src_2017.39.59729_bundle and get this issue:

>pwd

/opt/software/rosetta/rosetta_src_2017.39.59729_bundle/main/source/src/python/PyRosetta

Deleting ones "own" guest job a to reduce server load

Hi!

First, I want to thank you for giving us allowance to run  your excelent scientific codes on  the servers you provide. I also apologize if this is off-topic, but i was wondering if a guest could remove erroranous submissions before they are started? This is happenned recently and we dont wish to overload your servers.
